Really early Metallica

Wild ass guess here, but could it be “Orion” off of Master of Puppets? That’s their third album so I don’t know if it qualifies as “extreme early days”. Good stuff, though.

I once heard an amazing instrumental from Metallica from their extreme early days. Does anyone know what it might have been?

None of the stuff I’ve heard since was as good. I heard the song in a UC Berkeley alumni call center of all places. That was probably the worst job I ever had.
